1. Take breaks

First and far most it is important that you take breaks during the day. You tend to forget the time because of the amount of work you have to do in a day. However, it’s very important for your health that you take a break. And when we say a break we mean a proper break by going outside for a walk or just sit outside, try to relax and leave the work for after the break.

2. Boundaries

Set boundaries in the beginning of your day. It’s very tempting to work overtime when you work at home. It’s often just this or one more thing, but at the end of the week you have made a lot more hours than you should have. Try to set times when you work and keep this healthy.

3. Take vacation

When you feel any of these symptoms and you feel when it’s too much, take a vacation! A vacation can really help you to reset and re-energize yourself. This is better for yourself, and for your employer because no one is helped by an employee with a burn-out.

4. Healthy lifestyle

Something to really prevent the burn-out is to try a more healthy lifestyle. Try to work out, this releases endorphin and it helps clear your mind. Also, try to eat more healthy food. This will give you more energy throughout the day. But a good sleep rhythm is very important as well, without enough sleep everything you do will be more challenging.
